PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This 3M™ Soft Interface Disc Pad is constructed of ½ inch soft density foam with a 3M™ Clean Sanding hole pattern to allow dust extraction and minimize loading during sanding. The soft foam construction enables the pad to conform to edges and contours, making it a good match for sensitive workpieces where gouging and marring is a top concern.

3M sanding disc backing pad has a diameter of 6 inch. The hook & loop attachment allows for easy mounting to the tool or pad. To aid in dust control, this product is designed to work with vacuum systems and comes with 52 holes built into the Sanding Disc Backing Pad. The sanding disc backing pad has a width of 1/2 in. All abrasive products that rotate or spin, such as the ones in this category, have a maximum speed at which you can run them. This 3M sanding disc backing pad can be run at a maximum speed of 12000 RPMs.
