Features
- The odd-numbered design with 4-6 teeth per Tpi with a positive tooth angle of 10° offers the following advantages: – Faster and more aggressive cutting
- Better heat dissipation during cutting? Teeth stay sharper longer
- Deeper curved grooves between the teeth provide more efficient chip evacuation, preventing clogging and temperature rise
- Specially selected tooth angle has a lower tendency to shrink thinner materials
- Teeth are alternately spaced on the sides, minimizing viscosity and friction
- Low shifting pressure due to a combination of aggressive tooth geometry and efficient chip removal
- This requires less force when drilling
- Serrated section of the hole saw is made of the best Matrix II high speed steel
- Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt
- This means that the teeth retain their original hardness even at high operating temperatures during metal cutting.
- High-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to high-alloy steel housing
- The teeth are then vacuum cured at 65 HRC at 600°C to ensure maximum durability and performance
- The high wear resistance of Matrix II steel makes these saws excellent for cutting difficult and hard materials, such as stainless and acid resistant steels, as well as for cutting softer materials, such as wood.
- Hole saw body 1.27 mm thick steel and it retains its shape while being flexible
- The effective cutting depth is 41 mm
- Back plate construction, the plates are made of strong steel so that the holes do not get bigger over time. Strong backs increase durability and rigidity while minimizing vibration
- 4 drive holes for easier attachment to the mandrel
- The perfectly designed round back plate is especially important for hole saws with a larger diameter
- The angled grooves help to remove and extrude the core
- Application, high quality manufacturing technology guarantees high speed accuracy and hole saws are therefore suitable for both manual drilling and stationary use (manual hand only)
Specifications
- This range of high quality hole saws is the perfect solution for cutting in all types of materials
